But this approach is like relying solely on your high school friends to set you up on dates. You’ll only ever meet the people already in your circle.
The sons, younger and tuned into new ways of selling, decided it was time to meet new people, put themselves out there. By teaming up with a
US-based prime real estate influencer, Sina Saadat.
The property? A €22M Paris listing.
The setup? A live stream property tour.
One brother filming whilst the other carried out showing the home, and Sina interacting with his audience, asking questions, sparking conversation.
At one point, 25,000 people were watching. There was no flipping through an email list. No scrolling through the agency’s long-term network. These were potentially new clientele!
The goal was to make people feel the property through a screen, the spaces, the atmosphere, size, the location. Not easy to pull off, and most were probably just curious or daydreaming, but all it takes is 1, just 1 to commit. And that's exactly what happened. During the live a realtor in the US (New York) said they potentially have a client who might be interested.
This person was never on the agency's radar
This person was not on the email list
This person was not within their network
Their client brought the property for the full asking price without ever stepping foot in Paris or into the property. They didn’t know the family, but they trusted Sina! That's how influencer marketing works. They knew and trusted the influencer and that trust transferred to the agency.
Your network will only get you so far. Influencers take you beyond your network, beyond your email list and into audiences you’d never reach on your own.
The influencer was the connector, the trust bridge, the introduction that the agency could never have engineered through their traditional channels.
